Avalanche rescue

Practice, practice, practice. This is the key to success for a quick companion rescue. Accident analyses show that 1/3 of avalanche victims are due to insufficient equipment and incorrect operation. The mentality of “it won’t happen to me” is off the mark and can only be reduced by good training. Better safe, than sorry.

THE CLINIC:

The avalanche safety clinic deals in detail with companion rescue. It is about the right equipment, your rescue, and of course decision-making skills. In addition to the training in companion rescue, we will also give you an insight into organized avalanche rescue. Together with our event partner RECCO, we will show you how the specific locating system, which is already built into many pieces of equipment, works in the field.
